SEC head coaches, athletic directors, and presidents have descended upon Sandestin, Florida, this week to discuss the future of the SEC. Texas and Oklahoma are joining the league in 2024 and the scheduling for all sports is going to look different, especially for football. The main crux of the debate this week has centered around whether the conference should utilize an 8-game conference schedule or a 9-game conference schedule starting in 2024. There are points to be made for both sides.
